With the help of our residential treatment program, you or your loved one will discover coping mechanisms to help curb alcohol cravings and beat addiction once and for all. Our alcohol addiction treatment program may include residential detox and recovery, followed by outpatient care with ongoing support.
Our inpatient recovery program will be tailored to your unique situation. Expect to participate in individual and group therapy and receive medications such as naltrexone or acamprosate to reduce alcohol cravings.
We provide help for substance abuse disorders stemming from various drugs, including:
- Cocaine
- Heroin

At Hickory Behavioral Health Hospital, we offer you or your loved one the best chance at recovery by providing individualized treatment plans that cater to your unique situation. Medication-Assisted Detox
As the body learns to function without drugs or alcohol in the early days of recovery, patients may experience various withdrawal symptoms. These can include:
- Difficulty sleeping
- Sweating and hot flushes
- Tremors
- Chills
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Muscle cramps
- Anxiety
- Hallucinations
- Depression
In severe addiction cases, medication-assisted detox may be required to curb the effects of these withdrawal symptoms. This stage of treatment takes place for the first several days of recovery.
To avoid life-threatening symptoms, we strongly urge you to find a highly qualified recovery program in Indiana, such as Hickory Recovery.
