Our Treatment Team
Kim Retzer, Executive Director
Kim Retzner earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Butler University in 1995. She went on to work as a therapist until she began utilizing her knowledge as a leader. Kim has worked as a leader in the behavioral health and addiction field for 25 years. She has overseen outpatient community health services for 17 years, inpatient hospitals for 7 years, and now residential services. She is very passionate about the individuals who we serve.
In her downtime, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling. She believes in utilizing working out as a way to help with stress in her life, so she can be found walking with friends in local neighborhoods or spending time at the gym.
Angela Lawrence, Therapist
My name is Angela Lawrence. My passion for psychology, law, and justice began with direct service to U.S. Veterans in 2006, notably through the Vet to Vet Program in Indianapolis. This work deepened my understanding of trauma, leading to certifications in VA PTSD and Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and training with NAMI. My academic journey includes studies at Purdue University, Argosy University, and Tallahassee Community College, culminating in an MA/MS in Forensic Psychology and Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) status. My broad experience spans inpatient facilities, rehab centers, and coaching firms, including conducting competency evaluations at the intersection of psychology and law.
