Lisa L. Morgan, Executive Director
With nearly 20 years of experience as a Director of Social Services and in various administrative leadership roles, Lisa L. Morgan has dedicated her career to improving lives through compassionate, trauma-informed care. Her extensive background includes ten years as a Behavioral Health Specialist, where she provided therapeutic support to diverse populations—including children, families, and individuals struggling with addiction. For six years, Lisa has served as the Director of a specialized restoration program for minors who had been trafficked, exploited, or faced teen pregnancy. In this role, she led with empathy, structure, and innovation, helping survivors rebuild trust and stability in their lives.
Lisa’s leadership is defined by her passion for person-centered care and her unwavering commitment to empowering staff and residents alike. She is certified in Crisis Prevention as a certified instructor , and specializes in Trauma-Informed Care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Known for her strategic vision, integrity, and heart for service, Lisa continues to advocate for excellence in long-term care and behavioral health settings, ensuring every individual is met with dignity, respect, and hope.
Marah Massengale, RN, Director of Nursing
With over 16 years of experience in the nursing field, her career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she developed a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others, she advanced her education and credentials to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and later a Registered Nurse (RN) which further lead to nursing management roles, where she demonstrated strong leadership, clinical judgment, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes and staff development.
Her clinical expertise, combined with a deep understanding of patient needs, has allowed her to deliver high-quality care across diverse populations.
From a young age, she knew she wanted to work in healthcare, guided by a common goal of helping people and making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Hannah Hewlett, LCMHC, LCAS, Clinical Director
Hannah specializes in dual diagnoses and has over 10 years of experience in the substance abuse treatment field. She has her IAADC certification through the Iowa Board of Certifications and is licensed in Iowa as an LMHC through the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Hannah is dually licensed in North Carolina with her LCMHC and LCAS. Hannah received her M.A. in Counseling from Messiah University and graduated from the University of Iowa with her B.A. in Psychology. Hannah previously has been the Clinical Director of a Residential facility and Clinical Supervisor of an Outpatient facility. Hannah’s professional passions include advocating for quality client care, providing trauma-informed therapy, and creating a facility culture where employees feel heard, valued, and respected. Hannah enjoys quilting and playing bocce ball in her spare time.
Dr. John Allen, Clinical Manager
Dr. John William Allen earned his B.A. at Luther College, M.A. and Psy.D. in clinical psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. His professional experience includes independent contractor with Family Adolescent Child Treatment Service and licensed clinical psychologist, private practice in Chicago. Dr. Allen’s work experience includes case manager at long-term residential facilities, counselor at Trilogy, a sober living home for the dually diagnosed, and therapist at an intense outpatient program, Family Adolescents In Recovery.
Jayde Roberts, MSW, Substance Abuse Counselor
Jayde Roberts, MSW, is a trauma-informed social work professional with extensive experience supporting individuals, children, and families through complex behavioral health, educational, and child welfare systems. With a strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, Jayde specializes in strengths-based, evidence-informed approaches that promote stability, resilience, and long-term well-being. In addition to a collaborative approach to care that emphasizes safety, growth, and empowerment that help clients build on their existing strengths to achieve meaningful change.
